Part I-B

14. A Full Balloon Implies a Forbidden Wormhole-Like Portal

Any two points on a balloon's surface are connected not only by the curved surface path but by a straight line directly through the interior. If the universe's geometry genuinely behaved like a balloon's surface, this interior shortcut would be a real structural feature of space itself, structurally equivalent to an Einstein-Rosen bridge, a traversable connection the same physics community treats as forbidden everywhere else. An infinite, boundaryless space of the kind derived in Paper 5 has no surface to fold in this way and produces no such shortcut [P5].
